Fine-dining, downtown Hampton, Hagan's Grill

Hagan's grill lobster dinner

Hagan’s Grill is located at the corner of High Street and Lafayette Road, the crossroads of downtown Hampton (MAP), about a three-and-a-half-mile, seven- or eight-minute drive from the beach.  Hagan’s is a popular, low-profile, year-round, fine-dining establishment, serving seafood and American fare with a Latin accent, in a tastefully decorated space, in a nondescript downtown office building that doesn’t call attention to itself … arriving dinner guests should look for the Hagan’s sign with the stylized fish icon on the back awnings above the windows along High Street.

The restaurant staff is friendly and notably professional, and lunches and dinners are prepared in an open kitchen by Hagan’s classically trained Chef.

Visit New Hampshire editors have been pleased during several undisclosed visits with the Baked Brie and Cubana Sliders appetizers, as well as the Bolognese and Braised Short Ribs main courses, all prepared and served with obvious pride.  (VIEW CURRENT MENU HERE)

, the latter is especially recommended on weekends (we always ask for one of the high-top tables at the windows).

Hagan’s Grill is the smaller, more intimate, and closest to the beach of Hampton’s in-town fine-dining establishments.  Its tasteful, wine-themed décor, featuring low lighting and an understated elegance make it a perfectly appropriate option for casual meals as well as for romantic dinners for two.  (MENU)

Parking is on the street, but usually nearby and always easy to find around dinnertime.

Highly regarded locally and highly recommended by Visit New Hampshire’s editors.
