The one hundred-and-forty-room, seventeen-hundred-acre, Mountain View Grand  Resort and Spa, one of Visit New Hampshire’s five top-rated hotels, is located in Whitefield, in the heart of New Hampshire’s White Mountains.

The “Mountain View Grand” is known far and wide, of course, for its stunning views of the surrounding mountains and forests, and it offers its guests a broad variety of amenities, including a spa, its own golf course, tennis courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, casual dining, as well as fine dining in the legendary 1865 Wine Cellar restaurant, not to mention nearby skiing, skating, hiking and biking.

The Mountain View Grand is the ultimate family resort, but as well, a popular option for memorable couples’ weekends during any season of the year, especially in late September and early October when the surrounding mountains are awash in fall colors.

Some guestrooms at historic properties of this vintage are comparatively smaller, but they are all notably comfortable and stylish, many have balconies, and the hotel staff has been consistently warm and attentive during all of our occasional visits, which is an expectation in New Hampshire.

Indeed, many of its regular guests would tell you that the Mountain View “Grand” belongs at the very “top” of the list of “top five” hotels and resorts in New Hampshire.

Come to the Mountain View Grand during any season of the year and make some mountain memories for
